The Resato cutting machines are equipped with direct linear drives on each of the main axes (X, Y and Z). The direct linear drive principle ensures:
- a better cutting performance and absolute repeatability (zero-backlash) in position of the nozzle head compared to mechanical transmission components like ball srews, rack and pinion and gear boxes.
- maintenance free operation thanks to the non-contact principle.
- a wide speed range of the cutting and jogging speed, adjustable from very low to very high.
- immediateley response, enabling fast changes in cutting speed.
Accuracy ( per axis) :
- Position accuracy: ± 0.02 mm / m
- Repeatability: ± 0.15 mm
